“Amgad Zaghloul, the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Westdale, began his journey with Chick-fil-A in August of 2015 when he opened Chick-fil-A Westdale. Prior to opening this Chick-fil-A, he had virtually no experience in the restaurant industry! Amgad’s background and education included engineering, IT, and organizational leadership – not making a chicken sandwich!
However, Amgad had a passion to pursue opening a Chick-fil-A for several reasons. First, he desired to return to an environment where his work directly impacted people and where he could interact with a variety of different backgrounds and stories every day. Second, Amgad longed to make a living doing something that could directly involve his family. As a father of four kids, he has enjoyed seeing how his work and their involvement in it has already had an impact on how they view work and what it means to provide for your family and serve others well. Finally, Amgad loves being able to use his leadership and influence to create a healthy and vibrant culture among his team and to inspire them to lead others well, too.”
The vision of Chick-fil-A Westdale is: To be the most caring restaurant in the Midwest.
Our values are the words we believe describe our team at Chick-fil-A Westdale. Though never perfect, we have chosen these five words to embody who we strive to be, and how we strive to act, train, and hire. Of the hundreds of values we could have chosen, the five we want to most characterize Chick-fil-A Westdale are:
We do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, with positivity.
When we perform a task, we do it correctly and completely.
We choose action over reaction, and we anticipate the needs of others.
Our actions and attitudes are driven by wisdom, not fear.
Hustling to create surprisingly fast speed of service.
