Bill Stripling, Owner/Operator
LAKE PARK
Bill was raised in Lowndes County, marrying his high school sweetheart, Rebecca. They met in the Georgia Bridgemen Marching Band where Bill learned the power of being a part of something bigger than himself. His band director, Billy Martin, not only challenged him but also equipped him with invaluable tools and encouragement, both of which played a significant role in fostering his personal growth. Bill continues to be driven by the desire to positively impact others’ lives in the same way that Billy Martin influenced his.

CURRENT
Chick-fil-A Story
Bill and Rebecca both started their professional journey at Chick-fil-A Lake Park in 1999. They began learning the business as Team Members, contributing their skills, dedication, and drive to the renowned fast-food chain. The business side of the organization continued to intrigue Bill as he mentored younger team members and helped foster a growth-oriented work environment. Charles Campbell, currently an Owner/Operator in Florida, played an integral part in his leadership development.
In 2003, Bill was selected to serve as an Owner/Operator at the Valdosta Mall Chick-fil-A. Then just a few years later, he and his family transitioned back to Chick-fil-A Lake Park, coming full circle where it all started. Bill, Rebecca, and their son remain passionate about creating an unparalleled dining experience for the customers and serving their staff and the surrounding Lake Park community.
Vision and Values
MISSION STATEMENT
“Do Good For Everyone.” (Galatians 6:10)
We will be an A.G.E.N.T. of change in Lake Park by striving for excellence in everything we say, and do through, the embodiment of our core values. Our core values have led to our success, and it will be our honor to introduce this to the Lake Park community.
- A – Admirable – We will strive to be admirable on and off the stage. We understand that everything we say or do is a reflection of the Chick-fil-A brand and our store.
- G – Growth – We know and understand that we must strive to be better today than we were yesterday. We will grow ourselves as well as our business with the expectation of creating new opportunities for ourselves and the community.
- E – Enthusiastic – We are enthusiastic with who we serve and who we work alongside. We cannot help but to be excited about our future possibilities.
- N – Namesake – We understand that we represent the Chick-fil-A brand. As Truett quoted “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1
- T – Transformative – By living out our core values intrinsically, we can transform our environment as well as those that we interact with.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE CHICK-FIL-A A CAREER OR BECOME AN OWNER/OPERATOR?
“Have a lot of patience, read, be committed to growth, and don’t give up. Look at a ‘no’ as a ‘not yet!”
