Chick-fil-A Story
Chad began working at the Southern Hills Mall Chick-fil-A in the early 2000s with his future Father-in-Law who had been an Operator for more than 30 years. Chad endeavored to learn the business and further his leadership skills under his mentor. He was then chosen to advance to the Operator position after just a couple of years.
Chad’s mentor was selected to operate another store as he remained at the mall location, developing leaders and honing his craft for over 6 years. He was then selected to Operate Sioux City’s first free-standing unit that opened in 2012. After 20+ years of being an Owner/Operator with Chick-fil-A, Chad continues to use his entrepreneurial mindset to innovatively grow the business and serve his community.

COMMUNITY IMPACT
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE LOOKING TO BECOME A CHICK-FIL-A OWNER/OPERATOR?
“With the growth opportunities we have seen and that we will continue to see, there will always be opportunities to grow in my organization. As the business grows, so does the need to grow and develop leaders. We can prepare you internally to go outside of Sioux City into an area of opportunity to become an Operator or work for Chick-fil-A Inc. The sky’s the limit with Chick-fil-A, both here in Sioux City, and chain wide.”
