Chick-fil-A Story
The start of Dominic’s career began at his local Chick-fil-A in Knoxville, Tennessee, during his senior year of high school. Initially hesitant, he applied for the role due to financial needs and came to appreciate Chick-fil-A’s culture and values, which profoundly impacted his life. His leadership team, especially Eddie, invested in him as a person, teaching him the value of mentorship and relationships beyond the workplace.
Over time, Chick-fil-A became more than just a job—it became a place where Dominic found purpose and growth. By the age of 19, he was a supervisor, and he took on the role of General Manager at 22. He eventually realized that his work at Chick-fil-A could be a form of ministry, blending his professional and personal values. In December 2021, Dominic became an Operator and officially transitioned to the Rocky River location in April 2022.
Vision and Values
Dominic’s leadership is grounded in his faith, his commitment to personal growth, and his desire to inspire others. His vision is to create a workplace where team members experience more than just a job—it’s a place where lives are transformed. With an emphasis on leadership development amongst his team, particularly among high school students and young adults, Dominic views work as an opportunity to mentor and empower. He believes teaching fundamental business and life principles helps the team feel valued and supported.
With a focus on serving and mentorship, the Rocky River team prioritizes community outreach. They partner with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, Journey People, The Fish Christmas Wish program, and local schools and churches.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE CHICK-FIL-A A CAREER OR BECOME AN OWNER/OPERATOR?
“Having a great desire is important, but ask yourself why. Have you truly considered the cost of the process? This has to mean more to you than just the outcome—you need to appreciate the journey”
