Chick-fil-A Story
“I began working with Chick-fil-A in May of 1984 at Foothills Mall in Maryville, Tennessee. I worked through high school and college, learning to love the business. I participated in approximately 25 grand openings during the business intern program, which is now called the Leadership Development Program or LDP. My career as an Owner/Operator began in April of 1990, at the Chick-fil-A in Foothills Mall. For over 25 years, I have had the opportunity to be an Operator consultant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We opened the Hunters Crossing location in August of 2000 and our newest West Broadway location in 2021.
One of my favorite accomplishments in life is being connected to a brand that is so loved by the community. I am proud of the Chick-fil-A brand and I enjoy helping others reach their goals. My current focus is developing my leaders as we operate two locations while caring for our team and guests!”

“What would you say to someone who wants to make Chick-fil-A a career or become an Owner Operator?”
“If you want to be an Operator, complete your education to the highest level desired and keep your finances in good order. As Dan Cathy says, know your master, find you mate, and know your mission. Be at your best when the time calls. Finally, know how owning a restaurant will help accomplish that mission of your dreams. ”
