As a competitive athlete with a military background, Grant has always liked a challenge. He had a strong desire for leadership in the business world and to use his influence to impact others.
A new Operator out of Atlanta, who is still a mentor to Grant, really took the time to develop him at the start of his Chick-fil-A career. He has been with Chick-fil-A for over 5 years and was selected to run his first location in 2016, outside of Chicago. During the summer of 2020, Grant was given the opportunity to move closer to family and selected as the Operator/Owner of the Columbus National location in Indiana. He now uses his influence to serve and mentor others toward growth both personally and professionally.
“People are hungry, feed them well. It starts on the surface with quality food and a welcoming environment. But we’ve learned people are hungry for something deeper like care, kindness, friendship, and genuine hospitality.”
-Grant Parker
One way Grant likes to encourage a healthy and positive team culture is through a “Flocks and Shepherds” system. This is where everyone has a Shepherd to make sure that growth, community, and clear communication are intentional for every team member.
