Chick-fil-A Story
Michael initially began his career with his local Chick-fil-A as a means to pay his way through college. He ended up spending nine years there, working his way up from a team member to an operating partner. The restaurant grew from $2 million in sales to $9 million, earning Symbol of Success and Champions Club awards.
In 2021, he joined the Leadership Development Program (LDP), where he served in various roles, including grand opening supervisor and innovation team site lead. One of his most notable contributions was leading the grand opening of Little Blue Menu, Chick-fil-A’s innovative restaurant. As a new Owner/Operator, Michael is dedicated to developing people and building strong teams at Chick-fil-A Central Avenue & Colvin Avenue, marking the third Chick-fil-A in the region and the first in Albany proper.
Vision and Values
Michael’s mission is to create opportunities for growth, invest in future leaders, and serve his community with excellence. He is passionate about helping people reach their full potential, whether through leadership roles at Chick-fil-A or by equipping them with valuable life skills. His team culture focuses on care, confidence, and development, ensuring that every employee knows they are valued, trusted, and supported. Beyond his restaurant, Michael is dedicated to community engagement, aiming to make Chick-fil-A a pillar of support in Albany.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE CHICK-FIL-A A CAREER OR BECOME AN OWNER/OPERATOR?
“Chick-fil-A changed my life, and I wanted to be part of that. If you’re considering a career with Chick-fil-A, my advice is to stay committed to growth—personally and professionally. Whether it’s through leadership opportunities, learning from mentors, or embracing challenges, every step you take prepares you for something greater. The journey isn’t just about running a restaurant; it’s about building people, serving with purpose, and creating lasting impact.”
