“I get asked frequently about what it’s like to be a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator. Well, it has been an incredible journey for me and my family over the past few years, and although it is really hard work, it is incredibly rewarding. I know, I know, that’s a little cliche, but when you find your purpose and get the opportunity to live it out almost every day (we’re closed on Sundays if you didn’t already know), it’s an incredible feeling.
I came to the realization a few years ago that I am wired to serve people, and that’s why it’s rewarding to me. Seriously, some days I just get pumped up about getting to love and serve a restaurant full of people, whether it’s guests or team members. Now I’m still learning how to be a business owner and how to become a better Operator, but nothing beats that feeling of fulfillment I get when I serve my people.”
