Scott Spears, Owner/Operator
Lovejoy Station
Scott dedicated 10 years to leading in student ministry before redirecting this passion by starting his Chick-fil-A career in 2009. He worked for his brother-in-law and Owner/Operator, Bryan Shepard, who took him under his wing as a business owner. Throughout this two-year season being hands-on within the restaurant, Scott was able to learn skills in varying leadership positions with a focus on how to build a business and the Chick-fil-A brand. For the next year, Scott traveled the southeast as an Interim Manager before being selected as the Owner/Operator of an East Coast Chick-fil-A. (story continued below)

Chick-fil-A Story
After three years of serving the North Myrtle Beach community in South Carolina, Scott and his wife, Emily, relocated back home to Georgia with their four children. Scott transitioned out of the Operator world and into the Business Consultant realm, working for Chick-fil-A Inc. for the next 7 years. During his last year there, his heart started to turn back to the hands-on environment in the restaurant. By 2022, Scott became the third Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator ever to leave the position and return, being selected for the Lovejoy Station location.
