Shannon is a current nursing student at Duke University with aspirations to become a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. She earned her BS in Public Health from Brigham Young University-Idaho where she also met her husband, Weston. Shannon has been a lover of all things Chick-fil-a and had her first date there with her husband when they were dating. She is compassionate about serving others, giving back to her community, and being an advocate for the underserved. When she is not working, you can find her participating in exercise, spending time with family, or playing with her dog, Nala.
Jacob Burgoon graduated with a degree in athletic training from Bethel University in St. Paul., MN. He worked as an athletic trainer for an orthopedic surgeon for three years before leaving and joining Chick-fil-A full time in preparation for his wife joining Chick-fil-A's leadership development program where her goal is to become a Chick-fil-A operator. Jacob has worked for Chick-fil-A for 2.5 years now in various roles. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing video games, watching football and golf, traveling, and being outdoors.
Reed brings over five years of leadership experience from Chick-fil-A, where he has focused on team development, operations, and creating exceptional guest experiences. Reed travels with his wife and their Yorkie, Neo, and enjoys cooking, running, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, and spending time camping outdoors.

Ashley grew up in Woodstock, Georgia, and started working at Chick-fil-A at 17 years old. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in School Counseling at Valdosta State University. She met her husband while working at their hometown Chick-fil-A, where their relationship began as a “Chick-fil-ationship.” Now, they enjoy exploring new places together as he serves in Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program and pursues his goal of becoming an Owner/Operator. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, discovering new coffee shops, and spending time with family. She is passionate about meeting new people and helping others grow and achieve their goals.
Maddie is a 2020 graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing. She began working at Chick-fil-A in 2018 and has developed a strong foundation in hospitality and customer service. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys staying active and creative, spending her free time playing pickleball, reading, and exploring local thrift shops.
Grace Maples is passionate about serving and helping those who are looking for their dream job at Chick-fil-A in whatever capacity she can. She has a B.S. in Biblical Counseling from Boyce College, and is current working on her M.Div. in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has lived in 3 different states and 2 different countries, and currently resides in Southern Indiana. When she is not in class, at work or with her head in a book, she enjoys baking pastries, spending time with her friends, thrifting, listening to jazz, sipping a cup of coffee or tea, and traveling the world.
Emily says faith is fundamental in all aspects of her life. One verse she lives by is 2 Corinthians 10:5. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s in Managerial Science. During her senior semester in college, she interned with Chick-fil-A Corporate’s Winshape Camps. Since graduating, she has worked in the credit union industry and for a Chick-fil-A-owned pizza restaurant, Truett’s Pizza Cafe. She, her husband, and daughter reside in Georgia. In her spare time, she loves to work out, spend time with family, and be outdoors.
Tiago worked for multiple Chick-fil-A locations in Colorado and his last position was as a Front of House Director. He graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Tiago is very involved with missions in Brazil and met his wife, Helô on a mission trip during college. Tiago lives in Brazil now and enjoys taking walks with his wife and going on out of town trips or vacations whenever possible!
Claire is from the mountains of North Carolina and has spent her most recent years teaching 6th grade English in Boone, North Carolina. Claire, her husband, and their fur baby, Scout, are currently living on the road as her husband is in Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program. She has had the privilege to work alongside her husband at Chick-fil-A and has developed a deep appreciation for the brand's core values. In her free time, Claire enjoys running, slow days, reading thrillers, and watching binge-worthy TV shows.
Andrea is originally from Mexico City, Mexico, and grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from Berry College in 2019. Her Chick-fil-A journey began as a Marketing Director in Washington, D.C., where she also met her husband, Matthew. Recently, they settled in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, after Matthew was selected as the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Charlotte Hall. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys hiking, reading, playing pickleball, and traveling as she and Matthew explore new places together.
Kristin earned her Bachelor's degree in Business from East Tennessee State University and has spent the last 20 years with Chick-fil-A in various roles, including 3 years in the Leadership Development Program. She's passionate about leadership, people development, and the culture that makes Chick-fil-A special. She and her husband live in Northeast Tennessee with their two daughters. In her free time she enjoys baking, spending time with family, and working on jigsaw puzzles.
Makayla's first job was with Chick-fil-A in Houston, TX, where she spent five years growing through leadership roles focused on training, recruiting, and talent development. What started as a summer job quickly became the foundation for her passion of developing people and connecting the right talent with the right opportunities. Before joining Cooper Connect, Makayla led hiring, onboarding, and leadership development initiatives that strengthened team culture and streamlined systems. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Now based in San Antonio with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Makayla enjoys photography, exploring coffee shops, bad reality TV, and walks in nature.
Jessi grew up in metro Atlanta and started working at Chick-fil-A when she was 16 years old. She graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Psychology, Sociology, & Spanish. She met her husband while working at the Chick-fil-A in Athens, where she operated a Chick-fil-A food truck. Now, they travel the US together as he serves in CFA's Leadership Development Program and pursues becoming an Owner/Operator. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates classes, trying new restaurants, and taking walks with her husband and their dog, Titan.
Eli graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in International Affairs and received an M.A. in Political Science in Florence, Italy where he studied politics of the European Union. His professional background began in market research where he worked with The United States Department of State. His experience with Chick-fil-A began after his wife was accepted into Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program; Eli now travels across the country supporting Chick-fil-A restaurants as she pursues her dream of becoming an Owner/Operator. During his free time, Eli enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, watching sports, going to the gym, and reading!
Brandi’s first job was with Chick-fil-A and she worked there for 12 years, starting as a Team Member and working her way up to a Grand Opening Trainer and Day Manager. She has a love and passion for Chick-fil-A and wants to help others experience that same passion. She feels so blessed to be able to have this opportunity to work for Cooper Connect, as she is able to stay at home with her kids. When she is not sharing her passion for Chick-fil-A, Brandi is relaxing with her husband and two kids.
Sommer started with Chick-fil-A in 2008 in Morgantown, WV (Let’s Go Mountaineers!). She started as a team member and worked her way to Manager, Hospitality Director and Grand Opening Certified Trainer. She loved traveling for Grand Openings and creating raving fans across the country. When she is not recruiting, Sommer keeps busy as an active 4-H club leader, AWANA teacher at her local church, and lover of all things Dogue de Bordeaux. Sommer resides in West Virginia with her husband and 2 young sons. They love to garden, raise their dogs, and kayak.
Ashton is a Texas A&M University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business and a concentration in Marketing. She spent three years with Chick-fil-A, serving as both a Marketing Director and Executive Director of Sales & Culture, where she developed a passion for people, culture, and building meaningful connections. Outside of work, Ashton’s favorite role is being a wife and mom. She is a passionate advocate for EA/TEF awareness, a cause close to her heart, and enjoys trying new recipes, thrift shopping, and sipping on an iced coffee or loaded tea.

Jessica graduated from Pellissippi State in 2012 with an Associates Degree in Sociology. She's always had a love for helping others and has spent a majority of her career in hospitality and working with children. Jessica is a lover of all things Chick-fil-A and is compassionate about serving others and giving back to her community. In her free time, you can find her working on home projects, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, three kiddos, and goldendoodle, Olive.
Cora is from Myrtle Beach, SC and has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Liberty University. She is currently traveling across the country with her husband who is in Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program. Cora's Chick-fil-A experience comes from working in the restaurant as well as helping her husband manage corporate-owned locations. In her free time, Cora loves being a mom to her boys, reading and reviewing books, and traveling to new places.
Rachel is from North Carolina and currently resides in Tennessee. For the last 10 years, she has worked for nonprofits in various Administrative and Event role capacities. She has a passion to serve and develop people in every aspect of her life. Being outside gives her energy, music can bring her peace, and staying active in her church and local community gives her purpose.
Laura's first impressions of Chick-fil-A began in 2002, when she joined the team as a waitress at the Dwarf House in Fayetteville, GA. After marriage to her husband, Scott, she moved to various places with Scott's career in the Marine Corp. During that time, Laura served in a wide variety of ministry services while homeschooling her two children. Laura enjoys being with her family, camping, or having family movie nights.
Steven is from Myrtle Beach, SC, and graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He worked for Chick-fil-A for over 10 years in various management roles, with his last being as General Manager. He is passionate about connecting people with new opportunities and helping jump-start their career paths. Steven also recently started his own travel agency and wants to help plan remarkable vacations that are stress-free for his clients. When he is not working, he loves spending time with his wife, Ivy, and their cat, Max.
Weston worked for Chick-fil-A as a Director of Operations in Southern California. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Business and Communications, which is where he met his wife, Shannon. He started his career in Operations and is passionate about growing people and businesses. When Weston is not working, he is playing golf, making music, rock climbing, or relaxing with his wife and their dog (Nala).
Virginia Godwin's Chick-fil-A journey began at age 15 as a Team Member and grew into leadership throughout high school through the mentorship of her Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator and work-study program teacher. She later served as Marketing Director while earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. Today, she is driven by a passion for developing people, building meaningful relationships, and helping Chick-fil-A Operators solve their toughest talent challenges.
Virginia loves Jesus and considers her greatest calling to be stewarding the sweet heritage God has entrusted to her. She and her husband are raising their four children in a small rural Texas town, where they enjoy serving in their local church and investing in their community.
Katie has a background in training, team building, and system development. She is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional, passionate about creating exceptional hiring processes and fostering positive work environments. Residing in Virginia with her husband, two daughters, and greyhound, Katie loves creating and spending time outdoors.
Julie worked at Chick-fil-A for 16 years starting as a team member & working her way to Grand Opening Trainer, Operations Director, and General Manager. After her experience with Chick-fil-A and watching her sister become an Owner/Operator, she has developed an even deeper passion for Chick-fil-A and helping others discover the opportunity they have to offer. Julie has a heart to serve and has led multiple fundraising events for families in need. She is very active in her church and is married with five children.
Jared has a background in sales management and coaching for small businesses and individuals. Jared lives in Hawaii and enjoys surfing, spear-fishing, hiking, is an avid sports fan, drummer, and personal development junkie.
Dave has a background in entrepreneurship. He oversees operations, recruitment strategy, & team training. Dave lives in California and enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
Travis has a background in start-ups, business management, and ministry. Having been recruited to Chick-fil-A as an Operations Director and being married to a Chick-fil-A Operator, he has first-hand experience of the recruitment process from both the Client and Candidate perspectives. Travis enjoys riding his dirt bike, hunting, and “glamping”.
